A Case of Hypersensitivity to Antituberculosis Drugs and Nursing Care Problem for it

Abstract
Hypersensitivity to chemotherapeutic agents of tuberculosis is characterized by extensive exfoliative dermatitis, high fever, and persistent Leukocytosis.
Less common findings include dermatitis associated with itching and edema, and toxic reaction to liver function.
The diagnosis of Hypersensitive reaction to TB drug can be established upon
disappearance of above symptom as the drug was withdrawing, and eosinophilia. The specific findings to TB drug hypersensitivity are persistent high fever and
leukocytosis up to 30, 000/cumm.
We gave the specific corticosteroid, antihistamics and fluid associated with delicate nursing care for it with the prompt effect, but fever and Leucocytosis, persisted for prolonged period.
